Capital Campaign

Montessori education values and nurtures the self-directed and inquisitive student. Student curiosity about and willingness to seek out information beyond what is provided or easy nurtures an academically rigorous environment for students of all abilities. Studies have proven that the Montessori Method results in better scores on standardized tests in reading and math. Not only that, Montessori students are lifelong innovators and self-starters — exactly what our community needs to continue to grow and thrive in the future! Cypress Junction received approval from the Polk County School Board to open as a tuition-free public school in August 2016. The school will serve K-8 students under the charter, and will also have preschool, VPK, extended care and summer programs all operated by the 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

Our Mission
Cypress Junction encourages the development of the whole child by providing a comprehensive Montessori education. We do this through:

  • Cultivating independent thought, foundational skills, awareness of their environment, empathy for others, social ease, and high self-esteem in every student.
  • Establishing within each child the intellectual, emotional and physical rigor needed to become a self directed learner, flexible thinker and creative problem solver.
  • Supporting each student’s ever-increasing curiosity about the world in which they live.
  • Instilling the values and skills necessary to help our students grow up to be successful global citizens.
  • Bringing academic standards and student passions together to fuel a desire to learn.

Cypress Junction will set children on a path that embraces creativity, builds self awareness and helps them develop the academic skills, physical tools and personal confidence necessary for lifelong success.

Public funding for these programs will not be made available to the organization until July of 2016, with the school year beginning in August 2016. Facilities must be finished, supplies and furnishing in place, students enrolled and faculty and staff hired and trained prior to any fund being released to the school. In order to achieve our goals, we need our community’s help to fund the planning year expenses. If you have any questions, our team is more than willing to answer them! Please reach out to us at Info@CypressJunction.org and one of our board members will reach out within a day.

Technology Sponsor – $10,000 – Four Available – Click Here to Sponsor
While the digital experience cannot replace the hands-on learning approach of Montessori, technology is still an important aspect of education as we prepare students to be innovators and contributors to our society. Technology is also required to complete state mandated testing. Four technology sponsorships are available, and sponsors will be honored with a plaque in the lobby.  Sponsors will also be recognized at any future ground breaking and open house events as well of on social media, email newsletters, and press releases.

Fine Arts / Music Program Sponsor – $10,000 – Four Available – Click Here to Sponsor
A key tenant for all programs at Cypress Junction is incorporating art, beauty, appreciation, and aesthetics as part of the core Montessori curriculum. Painting, drawing, sculpting, drama, singing, playing instruments, and craft-making should be a part of every child’s experience. The funds from these sponsorships will be used to begin specialized arts and music programs at the school. Sponsors will be honored with a plaque in the lobby.  The sponsors will also be recognized at any future ground breaking and open house events as well of on social media, email newsletters, and press releases.

Multi-Purpose Room Sponsor – $10,000 – One Available Click Here to Sponsor
Cypress Junction will have a multi-purpose room that will serve as a space for lunchtime for our older students, specialized classes, indoor physical activity on rainy days, and a gathering spot for special functions throughout the year. Our agriculture program sponsor’s name will be prominently displayed in the gardening area, and correspondence to families, partners and the public about the program will carry the sponsor’s name. The sponsor will also be recognized at any future ground breaking and open house events as well of on social media, email newsletters, and press releases.
