Our panel of judges will select award winners, and fundraising will determine the People’s Choice Award. A Large Garage Sale to benefit Montessori of Winter Haven charter school efforts! Are you cleaning out closets, toy boxes or your garage to make room for all those Christmas presents? We are having a large garage sale in January to benefit the charter school. Winter Haven Montessori Charter Academy seeks to make Montessori education available tuition-free to Winter Haven K-8 students as a public charter school.  However, charter funding does not kick-in until we open the doors of the school. All start-up costs including building renovations, supplies, furniture and staff recruitment must be covered by fund raising.  The proposed opening date is August of 2016 with construction, staff recruitment and other preparations slated to begin in October of 2015.
